Scott Richard Dine, 72, of Stevensville passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at his home.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, October 23, 2023 at Christ Lutheran Church, 4333 Cleveland Ave. Stevensville, MI 49127, with Reverend Martin Measel, officiating. Friends may meet with the family from 2-4 PM on Sunday, October 22, 2023 at Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman, MI 49106. Burial will be in Hickory Bluff Cemetery, Stevensville. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ Lutheran Church. Online condolences accepted at www.PikeFH.com.
Scott was born on October 15, 1951 in St. Joseph, the son of the late Wayne and Jane (Knapp) Dine. On July 9, 1983, he married Karen Beezley and they shared 40 years together as best friends. Scott was a longtime member of Christ Lutheran Church. He enjoyed camping and being outdoors. Scott also enjoyed music, playing guitar, and was a talented stained-glass artist. Scott loved people and really brought them together. He dearly loved his friends and family.
Survivors include his wife: Karen; children: Laurel (Thomas) Rochefort and Seth (Diane) Dine; siblings: Valorie (Joseph) Meimes, Wayne (Renee) Dine, Mark (Marianne) Dine, Timothy Dine, John (Jennifer Jacobs) Dine, Keith (Sherry) Dine; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that have become family.
Scott was also preceded in death by a son-in-law: Aaron Olmstead.
