Scott Douglas Gregory, 61, of Xenia, Ohio, passed away on February 24, 2026, in his hometown. Born on September 19, 1964, in Xenia, Scott lived a life filled with family, faith, and the many interests that brought him joy. A proud graduate of Greeneview High School, Scott excelled both academically and athletically. He graduated with honors and was a talented athlete who played baseball and basketball. He continued his education at the University of Cincinnati. Over the years, Scott worked as a Real Estate Photographer and also contributed his skills to construction and renovations as well as automotive services. Scott was a devoted fan of the Cincinnati Reds, Cincinnati Bengals, and Ohio State Buckeyes, he found great joy in cheering on his favorite teams. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed dogs playing billiards, chess, Scrabble, and listening to music. He often shared fond memories about growing up on the Gregory Farms in Greene Co. His love for photography reflected his appreciation for art and the world around him. Scott also had a deep interest in history, science, nature, and reading books-pursuits that showcased his curiosity and intellect. Scott's faith was an integral part of his life. A Christian baptized at Xenia Nazarene Church; he attended services there with his mother and found comfort in his spiritual beliefs. He cherished time spent outdoors and vacationing with family. Scott is survived by his loving mother Frances Jeannine Pauley; brother Jeff Gregory and his wife Wendy along with their children Kelsey, Zach, Shea, and Noah; sister Krista Morris (Gregory) and her husband Don Morris as well as their children and grandchildren; along with many supportive aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will deeply miss him. He was preceded in death by his father Neal Gregory; maternal grandparents Earl Pauley and Ella Pauley (Hieneman); paternal grandparents Edgar Gregory and Velma Gregory (Sewell); cousin Christopher Joyce; nephew Donald Morris; as well as other beloved family members who have gone before him. May Scott's legacy bring comfort to all who mourn him. He was loved and will be deeply missed. A Memorial Gathering will be held on March 7, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Xenia Nazarene Church 1204 W Second St., Xenia, Ohio 45385. The Powers-Kell Funeral Home, Jamestown, is assisting the family.
