Scott Victor Hill, 55, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022, with his family by his side. Scott was born on December 26, 1966, in Oklahoma City to Clifton Hill and Lorellie Hill (Capps). He was the younger brother to Chip Hill and Steve Fish.
Scott spent most of his time with his friends and family in Oklahoma. He enjoyed fishing. Scot was a loyal and proud fan of the OU Sooners, having attended many of their football games with his dear, lifelong friends Philip and Lisa Hurtt, Matt and Tina Connel, and Roland Edmonds. He graduated from U.S. Grant High School, and worked for many years, eventually retiring from Dayton Tire. In 2005, he married the love of his life, Donna Kear, who preceded him in death. Scott loved spending time with his two daughters, Sarah, and Samantha. He proudly attended every orchestra and vocal music event of theirs for several years and had fond memories of taking them to the annual father daughter dance.
Scott was known for his infectious sense of humor, his kind-hearted nature, and his steadfast faith. His friends and family describe him as never having met a stranger and always making people laugh. He was a loving father, son, brother, and friend, and he will be dearly missed. He was a member of Hilltop Baptist Church and was passionate about his faith and sharing the Gospel. He now sits in the presence and the glory of God and his Savior Jesus.
Scott was preceded in death by his father and mother, Clifton and Lorellie Hill, his wife, Donna Hill, his cousin, Steve Fish, and friend Roland Edmond. He is survived by his daughters, Sarah and Samantha Tennant-Hill, brother, Chip Hill, niece Whitney Williams (Hill) and her husband Tray Williams, great-grand nieces Lanie, Charis, and Ryan Kate Williams, niece Allison Hill, nephew Jacob Hill, and friends, Philip and Lisa Hurtt, and Matt and Tina Connel. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the compassionate, dedicated SSM Hospice team led by long-time friend and nurse Melody McCormick.
The family will hold a viewing on Tuesday, March 15, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at John Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel, 120 S Broadway Ave., Moore, Oklahoma 73160. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, March 16, at Hilltop Baptist Church, 11710 SE 149th St., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73165 with Pastor Matt Hardin officiating. Burial will follow at Schwartz Cemetery.
