Scott Patrick Knowles

Scott Patrick Knowles, 56, of East Stroudsburg passed away Friday July 4, 2025, at the Lehigh Valley Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg.
Scott, son of Gerald D. and Carol G. (Rowain) Knowles, was born in Etobicoke, Ontario Canada on July 11, 1968. He graduated from St. Roberts High School Markham-Thornhill and the business management program at Seneca College in Toronto, Ontario. Scott spent his working career as a manager in the restaurant industry, most recently at the Burger King in Brodheadsville.
He was of the Catholic faith and loved spending time with his family, traveling, and visiting aquariums and zoos wherever he went.
Surviving in addition to his parents, Gerald and Carol Knowles, is his wife, of 33 years, Lisa (Friedrich) Knowles of East Stroudsburg, children, Steven Knowles of Mechanicsburg, Kaitlyn Knowles of Long Branch, New Jersey, and Christopher Knowles of East Stroudsburg, sisters, Kathy Chapeskie and her husband, John of Halifax, Nova Scotia and Lori Pinkerton and her husband, John of Courtice, Ontario and his nieces Alyssa, Bryanna, Megan and Hannah and nephew Matthew.
A public visitation will be held on Wednesday July 9, 2025, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. in the Yanac Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc. 35 Sterling Road, Mount Pocono. Pastor Patrick Hughes will conduct a memorial service at 8:00 P.M.
A private Interment will be held on Thursday July 10, 2025.
The family has asked in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the American or Canadian Cancer Society in Scott's name.
