It is with deep sorrow and loving remembrance that we announce the passing of Vanessa R. Vieux, 40, of Pocono Summit, who departed this world peacefully on Thursday evening, July 3, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Vanessa was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, the beloved daughter of Ana Raquel De Jesus of San Cristóbal, Dominican Republic. She graduated from high school in the Dominican Republic and dedicated her career in the United States to the home health care field, working compassionately as a home health aide. Vanessa was a woman of Christian faith and an active member of Iglesia de Dios Nuevo Comienzo in Stroudsburg, PA.
As a daughter, mother, wife, sister, and friend, Vanessa was a source of boundless love, strength, and wisdom. Her kindness and sense of humor touched everyone around her, and her legacy of compassion and resilience will live on through her family and all those whose lives she so deeply impacted.
Vanessa is survived by her loving husband, Guy Vieux; her children, Lauri De Jesus, Leidy De Jesus, Jensi Vieux, and Adrianna Vieux; and her precious grandchildren, Ailani and Liam. She is also survived by her devoted mother, Ana, her beloved brother, Johan Ramón Rodríguez De Jesus, her dear nephew Joseph Sergio Rodríguez Victoria, and many extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.
A wake to honor Vanessa's life will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 12:00 PM - 1:00PM, at Yanac Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc., 35 Sterling Road, Mount Pocono, PA. Burial will immediately follow at Stroudsburg Cemetery, 1103 Dreher Avenue, Stroudsburg, PA.

Con profundo dolor anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestra querida Vanessa R. Vieux, de 40 años, quien partió de este mundo el jueves 3 de julio de 2025, rodeada del amor de su familia.
Vanessa nació en Santo Domingo, República Dominicana, y fue la amada hija de Ana Raquel De Jesús, de San Cristóbal, República Dominicana. Se graduó de la escuela secundaria en la República Dominicana y en Estados Unidos, dedicó su carrera profesional al cuidado de otros desempeñándose con compasión como asistente de salud domiciliaria. Vanessa fue una mujer de fé cristiana y miembro de la Iglesia de Dios Nuevo Comienzo en Stroudsburg, Pensilvania.
Como hija, madre, esposa, hermana y amiga, Vanessa fue una fuente inagotable de amor, fortaleza y sabiduría. Su bondad y sentido del humor tocó a todos los que la rodeaban y su legado de compasión y resiliencia vivirá para siempre a través de su familia y de todas las personas que la conocieron.
A Vanessa la sobrevive su amado esposo, Guy Vieux; sus hijos, Lauri De Jesús, Leidy De Jesús, Jensi Vieux y Adrianna Vieux; y sus amados nietos, Ailani y Liam. También le sobreviven su querida madre Ana, su amado hermano Johan Ramón Rodríguez De Jesús y su adorado sobrino Joseph Sergio Rodríguez Victoria, así como numerosos familiares y amigos que la amaron profundamente.
El velorio en honor a la vida de Vanessa se llevará a cabo el sábado, 12 de julio de 2025, desde las 10:00 a.m. hasta la hora del servicio, que tendrá lugar de 12:00 p.m. a 1:00 p.m., en Yanac Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc., 35 Sterling Road, Mount Pocono, PA.
