E. Brian Davis, of Boca Raton Florida, passed away suddenly on Wednesday August 27, 2025, at his home in Boca Raton Florida.

Brian was born in East Stroudsburg on May 21, 1970, a son of Edgar H. and Joan A (Planchock) Davis of Pocono Summit. He was 25x2+5 as he liked to explain his age. Brian was a graduate of Pocono Mountain High School, class of 1988. At Pocono Mountain he was a member of the marching band, chorus, barbershop quartet and the singing boys of Pennsylvania. Brian earned his master's degree in aeronautical business in aviation from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach Florida while he served his country in the United States Navy earning the rank of Lieutenant Commander after 25 years of service. Over the years he flew for various airlines carrying some notable passengers including the Harlem Globe Trotters, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, and was Richard Branson's personal pilot. Most recently he was a corporate pilot for Trident Aviation.

He was of the Catholic faith, was a member of the West End Wings model airplane flying club had a passion for golf, biking and running. Brian was also a certified trainer for Jack Canfield, author of Chicken Soup for the soul series. Brian loved to fly, and he flew all over the world during his career as a pilot.

Surviving in addition to his parents Edgar and Joan Davis are his maternal grandmother, Harriet Planchock and sister, Melanie Davis, niece Nicole Romano, nephew, Daniel Davis, Uncle George Planchock and his wife, Theresa, cousins, Erica and Blake Bingler, Jessica Planchock and her partner, Mike, Uncle "Bob" Davis and his wife, Annamae, and many extended family members.

A public viewing will be held on Tuesday September 9, 2025, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. in the Yanac Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc. 35 Sterling Road, Mount Pocono.

A graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday September 10, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. in St. Catherine's Cemetery, 1247 Drinker Turnpike, Covington Twp.
