Sorry to hear the sad news of Mr. Lawrence-Richards... He was my English teacher at King William High School in Virginia..1988-89 He was a great man and gifted educator.. I remember him telling us how he had adopted a son and the excitement that he had about being a father was great to behold. May God bless his family and his greatness will always live on in the lives that he touched and impacted along the way!

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Lawrence-Richard's passing. He was my 12th grade English teacher at King William High School and we loved him. I still think of him often as he was an outstanding teacher and he impacted my life. He made English fun. Well fun as English could be to an 18 year old wanting to get out of school :) He pushed us to go past what we thought was all we had in us. He made us think about things we wouldn't have otherwise. He was firm but friendly. He was a good man. And I LOVED his bowties :):):)
My condolences to his wife, children, grandson and extended family. He will be missed by all who knew him.
