Scott McCain Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Hayes Brothers Funeral Home - Altamonte Springs Chapel on Dec. 11, 2025.
It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of Scottie Andrew McCain. Born on May 26, 1969, in the vibrant community of Orlando, Florida, Scottie was the cherished son of the late LC McCain and Superior Williams-McCain.
and the brother of the late Judy McCain.
Scottie's formative years were deeply rooted in Orlando, where he attended Orange County public schools and proudly graduated from Oak Ridge High School. His education laid the foundation for a life marked by dedication and a passion for living fully.
A man of remarkable devotion, Scottie held his family closest to his heart. His enduring love for his wife was a cornerstone of his life, and he found immense joy and companionship in his beloved dog, Diesel. As the youngest among his siblings, he brought a special warmth and vibrancy to his family, creating countless cherished memories.
Scottie approached life with an infectious enthusiasm and an unmistakable zest. He was an avid fisherman, finding solace and peace on the water. His vibrant spirit was also expressed through his love for music, which he enjoyed playing loudly in his cars, a testament to his unreserved appreciation for life's simple, yet profound, pleasures.
Professionally, Scottie dedicated an impressive 33 years of service to the City of Orlando, a testament to his unwavering commitment and strong work ethic. His long and distinguished career saw him contribute significantly to the community he called home, from which he honorably retired.
Scottie's presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, and his legacy will continue to resonate with those whose lives he touched.
