Scott Plummer

Scott Plummer, 52, of Gladwin, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. He was born on March 13, 1972, in Bay City, the son of William "Jake" and Patricia (Williams) Plummer. Scott dedicated his life to caring for others as a Licensed LPN at the Gladwin Pines Nursing and Rehab Center. His compassionate nature shone through in his work, and he found deep fulfillment in helping those in need. In September of 2022, Scott was united in marriage to his beloved wife, Karey. They shared many cherished moments together, often spending evenings sitting on the porch, gazing at the stars. Scott had a profound love for the outdoors, and he found joy in activities such as side-by-side rides, kayaking, hunting, and fishing.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Karey Plummer, and his stepchildren: Viva and Eden Robinson, C.J. Zettel and Nancy Lapere. He is also survived by his mother, Patricia Plummer, and siblings: Kandy Gunther, Elaine Bradford, Becky Marko, and Tim Plummer. Scott will be deeply missed by his niece, and nephew: Jamie Gunther (Jason Hale) and Cody Gunther, his sister-in-law, Tammy Williams, as well as his great-nieces and nephews: Hunter Eagan, Jason and Devin Hale, Marshall and Hadley Gunther. He was also blessed with godparents, Cook and Bo Ward, and his best friend, Keith (Bobbi Jo) Yingling. Scott leaves behind a multitude of other nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Scott was preceded in death by his father, Jake Plummer, and brothers, Rev. Shawn Williams and Jeff Plummer.
Memorial Services will be conducted on Monday, May 20, 2024, 1:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.
