Scott Andrew Ross, 46, of American Fork passed away on January 24, 2023.
Scott was born on January 1, 1977, to Bill and Diane Ross in San Diego, California. Scott grew up in West Jordan, Utah graduating in 1995.
In his youth, he was a true adrenaline junky and had a passion for rock climbing, kayaking, and anything that included adventure.
As part of that adventure, he served his country for 20 years as a Sergeant First Class with the 19th Army Special Forces group. He was well respected among his peers and served countless tours and earned many medals including the Bronze Star.
In 2004, Scott married the love of his life, Amy. Together they had 3 children; Bronson Andrew 14, Hunter Lee, 13, and Abby Sue, 11. His children were his everything and he wanted the best for them. He always made sure they were taken care of. Scott had a great love for the outdoors and really enjoyed fly fishing, and hunting. He always wanted to share that love by taking the family on camping trips (even occasionally taking kids kicking and screaming).
Scott excelled at everything he put his mind to, as a second career (after the military), he developed a love for building things and loved teaching himself how to build furniture, remodeling homes and finish carpentry. He became a true craftsman and as a perfectionist, his work was admired and appreciated by both clients and employers alike.
He is survived by his wife Amy, Sons, Bronson Andrew and Hunter Lee, Daughter Abby Sue. Parents Bill and Diane Ross, Lehi, UT. Sister, Shauna (Brad) Young, Layton, UT. Brother Michael (Robyn) Ross Smoot, WY. Brother Kevin Ross, Salt Lake City, UT. He is preceded in death by his brother Jason.

Scott took me rock climbing (for real) for my first and only time. I left a chunk of my shin-flesh on part of that mountain. An absolute blast. I never knew him to not have a smile on his face and bounce in his step. Godspeed!
