Scott loved sports, especially Hockey, the NJ Devils and NFL, the Los Angeles Rams. He was a dedicated worker, and loving father and friend to all.
He is predeceased by his parents, Mary Jo and Steven ( aka Pete) Samu; and his wife, Terri Samu. Scott is survived by his loving sons, Ronald Vincelli (Gemma) and Scott S. Samu (Miranda); his sisters, Kelly (Michael), Robin Anne and Melissa (Frank); his brothers, Steven (Suzanne) and Michael (Cindy); grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at Synowiecki Funeral Home, 56 Carteret Avenue, Carteret from 5 PM to 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in his memory would be appreciated.

I extend my sincere condolences to Little Scott and the family at this difficult time. Please know that God, the Comforter, offers you His comfort and peace, and that is my prayer for you. Scott was a great neighbor, always very pleasant and friendly. His presence will be missed!
