Scott Allan "Scotty" Sanchez

Scott Allan Sanchez "Scotty," age 51, of Victoria, Texas was welcomed home November 5, 2025.
He was born January 9, 1974 in Pasadena, Texas to Fernando B. Sanchez, Sr. and to the late Dianna S. Sanchez-Johnson.
Family and friends will gather for visitation Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Grace Funeral Home, 2401 Houston Hwy. in Victoria, Texas. Services will continue Friday 14, 2025 at 2:00 PM. Honoring Scott as Pallbearers will be Kenny Kloesel, Dusty Lindsey, Rob Dubard, Giovanni Sanchez, Cody Martinez, and Aden Sanchez. Honorary Pallbearers are all the employees of Mueller Inc.
Scott dedicated 29 years to Mueller Inc., including 15 years as a branch manager, where his leadership and commitment were evident every day. Above all, he was a devoted family man who cherished time with his loved ones. Competitive by nature, especially with his sons, Scott enjoyed yearly family trips to Port Aransas and was passionate about sports. A proud Houston Texans fan and fantasy football enthusiast, he looked forward to Sunday football all year. Known for his humor, Scott loved making people laugh and spreading joy. He never met a stranger and was always ready to help those in need. A longtime Little League coach, he poured his heart into mentoring young players when his boys were growing up. His boys were truly his world.
In addition to his mother, Dianna Sue Sanchez-Johnson, Scott was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Walter and June Stewart, and paternal grandparents, Pablo and Pauline Sanchez.
Leaving to cherish his memory are his sons: Brock Allan Sanchez, and Zachary Allan Sanchez; his loving life partner: Amanda Castillo; step-children: Brycen Paul Castillo, and Kelsie Marie Castillo; father: Fernando B. Sanchez, Sr. (Felicitas); sisters: Tonya Marie Martinez (Damon) of Temple, TX, Corina Marie Sanchez of San Antonio, TX, Elyani Marie Sanchez of Ballinger, TX, and Tiana Marie Sanchez of San Antonio, TX; brothers: Fernando (Chip) Sanchez, Jr. (Monica) of Ballinger, TX, and Aden Paul Sanchez of Ballinger, TX; nephews: Cody Martinez (Kayla), Giovanni Sanchez, and Payton Andrew Sanchez; nieces: Madison Martinez, Lexi Sanchez, Lylah Sanchez, and Breigh-Ann Faith Parker (Jordan); great-nieces: Emma Martinez, and Mia Martinez.
