Scott Matthew Shull entered eternal rest on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at the age of 55.
Devoted husband to Leigh Shull (nee Campbell); loving father of Sam Shull and Sadie Shull; beloved son of Jeanne and the late Stephen Shull; admired brother of Andrea (Ronnie) Croy; cherished brother-in-law of Bo (Cathy) Campbell, the late Mindy (Terry) Green; dear uncle to Savannah Croy, Mackenna Croy, Carson Croy, Christie Campbell, Daniel Campbell, and Kelly Campbell; dear son-in-law to the late Betty Campbell and Larry (late Karen) Campbell; cousin, nephew, friend to many.
Scott was born on October 3, 1969, in San Antonio, Texas. He grew up in Maryland Heights, Missouri and graduated from Pattonville High School. Scott enjoyed playing many sports while growing up, including football, basketball, and golf, but focused on baseball. He went on to play baseball at University of Missouri-St. Louis. After college, Scott had a lengthy career in pharmaceutical sales, with a focus in the ophthalmology field.
Scott was a friend to everyone. He listened, advised, comforted, genuinely cared, supported, and loved his friends, and never failed to make them laugh with his amazing sense of humor or warm them with his smile. Scott valued time with his family and loved them deeply. He was most proud of his children, and he showed them through example how to treat people, be present and enjoy life. Scott always had a love for music and sharing that with both his children will leave an endearing imprint on them. He was their protector and greatest champion and spending time with them and supporting their passions was his greatest joy.
Those that were fortunate enough to cross paths with Scott, will forever cherish the memories, the good times, and the laughter, and we will carry him in our hearts forever.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025, from 4 pm - 6 pm. A service will directly follow at 6 pm at Hutchens Stygar Funeral Home, 5987 Mid Rivers Mall Dr, St. Charles, MO
