Miss you Scotty. I cannot believe you have been gone for two years now. I thought about you the other day when someone online brought up swimming at the stripper pits. Remember you, me and Joanne and our adventures there? We had some great times.Bye for now. Pam

I worked with Scottie at GE. He was my skydiving buddy and just an all around great guy. He was like another dad to me but also a best friend. His laugh was a laugh that I will remember forever and he will always be in my heart. Even after I left GE he would meet up and just check in on me. I am so sad to hear he is no longer here with us but I know I´ll share many laughs with him on the other side in heaven one day. Love ya Scottie
Your friend always, Miss Sandy

I used to clean his & Vicki's house. Very nice people. Scott and I would sit and talk about things, offer advice. Talk about going to Abby Road on the River.
I love listening to him.
I couldn't believe it when i saw it in the paper.
R.I.P. Scott

It was announced at yesterday's Local 1189 United Mine Workers of America monthly meeting that Brother Scott had passed. On behalf of the members of LU 1189 I extend our condolences to the family.
I always enjoyed talking with Scott and I held his points of view in high regard. After the mine closed I lost track of Scott until about a year ago when I spoke with him on the phone. Brother Scott told me that for a long time he had been unaware that he had earned a pension for his time in the UMWA but he had made application and was now receiving it and that he was grateful for it. During our conversation we reminisced about our time in the mine and shared family updates. Scott spoke with great love for his family.
The world is a little less now that the Brother has passed.
