Scott Edwin Studebaker

CENTERVILLE, Ind. - Scott Edwin Studebaker, age 57, of Centerville, Indiana, died Saturday, October 19, 2024, at home. Born June 12, 1967, in Springfield, Ohio, to Jerry and Judi Barnhart Studebaker, Scott was a life-long resident of this community. He was a 1985 graduate of Richmond High School and received his bachelors degree from Northwood Institute in 1989. Scott was owner/operator of Studebaker Motorsports and was formerly general manager of Studebaker Buick GMC for 30 years. He was a perfectionist and very athletic. Scott enjoyed watersports of all kinds. He was a member of the Vintage Car Club. Survivors include his daughters, Dr. Haely (Quinten) Studebaker-Hunter of Louisville, Kentucky, and Madison Studebaker of Centerville, Indiana; parents, Jerry and Judi Studebaker, of Richmond, Indiana; Merissa Ross of Brownsburg, Indiana, who he loved as his own daughter; sister, Beth Ann Shepherd, of Indianapolis, Indiana; very special friend, Tracie Robinson, of Richmond, Indiana; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; countless friends; and his dog, Riley. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. Memorial service for Scott Edwin Studebaker will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, October 26, 2024, at First English Lutheran Church, 2727 East Main Street, Richmond, Indiana with Pastor John Walker and Pastor Chip Belanga officiating.
