Topeka - Scott Allen Warner, 37, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024, in Topeka, Kansas. He was born on January 28, 1987, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Troy and Sonia (Adams) Warner. Scott graduated from Lyndon middle school and went on to attend Seaman High School until 2005. He finished his schooling in 2015 when he received his GED from Topeka High School.
Scott had grown up in Lyndon and in Topeka and had resided in Topeka at the time of his death.
Scott had worked for Dot's Little Doggies while in high school and then for Dish Network, Oz Auto, tile work and working for Concrete Unlimited. He always kept himself busy, even doing lawn care to help others.
Scott was preceded in death by his Dad, Troy Warner; by his grandparents, Dale and Edie Adams and Bill and Nancy Decock; and by his great-grandparents, Howard and Verna Warner, Barbara and Allison Adams and Mervin and Nina Nicolay.
Scott is survived by his two daughters, Alexis Harrington of Kansas City and Riley Warner of Topeka; his parents, Sonia and Richard Tolbert of Topeka and Susan Warner Scheid of Scranton; his grandparents, Ed and Ginger Warner of Lyndon and Dwight Tolbert of McFarland; his four brothers, Lance Segrist of Osage City, Austin Hogan, Ethan Tolbert and Preston Tolbert, all of Topeka; his sister, Whitney Freerksen of Overbrook; his girlfriend, Nicole Staples and her four children, Myra Lindbloom, Kiera Cook, Leila Cook and Hope Staples.
Funeral services for Scott will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, January 11, at the Feltner Funeral Home in Lyndon. Burial will be in the Lyndon Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:30pm on Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions in memory of Scott may be made to the Scott Warner Memorial Fund (for his daughters), sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Avenue, Lyndon, KS 66451.
