Scott Hughes Woods age 65 passed away June 26, 2024 in West Valley City, Utah.
Born October 27, 1958 in Roosevelt, Utah to Wallace D. Woods and Rhea Hampton Woods. He is one of six children. He has five children: Shannon (Jayson Dean) Woods, Travis Woods, Melissa Woods, Melinda (Delvin) Massey, Bailey (Jeromy Roberts) Woods.
Scott was a forever loyal Seattle Seahawks fan and never missed a chance to watch them play. He loved music, spending time outdoors and the occasional family gathering.
He is survived by his five children, ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, his mother Rhea, three siblings: Vicki Hamilton, Lori Woods Eng and Deb Langley, their spouses along with numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father Wallace D. Woods, spouse Tauna Riessen Woods, sister Karen Morris, brother Elden M. Woods and several other family members and friends.
Graveside services for Scott will be held Friday July 12, 2024 at 11:00 AM at West Jordan Cemetery 7925 S. 1300 W. West Jordan, UT. 84088. Condolences for his family may be sent through the Jenkins-Soffe website.
