Many happy memories were made on those trips. Scotty was a beloved father and grandfather, who was affectionately called "PePa" and "PaPa" by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Scotty was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 30 years, Pat Erroll Hilliard, wife of 12 years, Joan Bedsole Hilliard, and his step-father, Charles Jackson Giddens.

August 14, 2025

Mr. Scotty Hilliard was a great friend of my dad´s, William Connor. Many times Scotty ate dinner at our home. Sometimes I rode with my dad to deliver a plate of food to him at the local State Patrol Station. I have fond memories of Scotty joking with my dad and me. I will always cherish those memories. He was a kind man who was loved by many.
Kindest regards,
