TIMOTHY RAY "TIM" STONE, JR., age 36, of Eastman, GA, formerly of Naples, FL, died Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center in Augusta, GA.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
Tim was born in Naples, FL on March 4, 1989, and lived in Naples for several years until moving to Eastman, GA in 1997. He was a member of the Seventh Day Advent Church in Dublin, GA, attended Dodge County High School, and later studied to become a diesel mechanic at Oconee Fall Line Technical College. He worked at Wal-Mart and later for Dollar Tree in Eastman. He was a wonderful caretaker for his mother and made a concerted effort to make sure her needs were met. He enjoyed playing games on the computer or on his PlayStation. He was an avid reader, loved fishing, communicating on the internet with his friends, spending time with his family, especially his mother, and was an animal lover who rescued many pets over the years, including his cat, Sarabi. Tim was preceded in death by his Uncle, Bruce Joren, Grandmother- Shirley Brawner, Grandfather- H T Brawner, Great Grandparents- Wilson R Owen & Annie B Owen.
He is survived by his Mother – Tamara Brawner Stone of Eastman, GA; Sister – January Baker (Wes) of Eastman, GA; Nieces and Nephews – Justin Barlow (Sara), Heather B. Dunlap (Shane), both of Eastman, GA, and Jade Barlow of Gulf Shores, AL; Great-Nieces and Nephews – Carolina Douglas, Owen Barlow, Lily Barlow, Matthew Dunlap, Jasmine Dunlap, James Dunlap, Wyatt Dunlap, and Blake Dunlap; Aunts and Uncles – Belinda Green (Mike), Sandon Joren (Debra), Roger Joren, and Lori DeGennaro; Numerous cousins and friends; Special Friend – Helen Horne of Eastman, GA.
The family may be contacted at the residence of Justin and Sara Barlow, 1681 Dublin Hwy., Eastman, GA.
