Scout Mason Anderson of Frisco, Texas passed away on June 21, 2025, at the age of 28. He was born on June 5, 1997, in Carrollton, Texas to Michael Scott Anderson and Kathleen Marie (Way) Anderson.
A proud 2015 graduate of The Colony High School in The Colony, Texas, Scout continued his education at Collin College, always eager to learn and grow. On May 24, 2025, he married the love of his life, Demi Nicole Sisson, in Highland Park, Texas. Their joy was soon to be multiplied as the couple was expecting their first child, due this November. He was elated to be a father and was already so in love with his daughter.
Scout lived life with energy, heart, and a spirit of adventure. He loved the outdoors & being one with nature, especially surfing, running, cycling, and riding. Scout found joy in travel and the thrill of discovering new places. At home, he found peace in quiet moments with family, especially while cooking or playing with Sadie. He enjoyed spending time with his loved ones at the lakehouse as often as he could, one of his favorite pastimes. He loved the company he helped build from the ground up. There was not a problem he couldn't solve, not a person that he would not help. He was a dedicated and hardworking leader, loved and respected by everyone he came in contact with.
Scout was a devoted son, husband, brother, uncle, friend and dog dad. His kind heart, adventurous soul, infectious smile, and unwavering love for those around him left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Scout's time with us was far too short, but his memory will be held in the hearts of his loved ones for a lifetime.
He is survived by his wife, Demi Anderson, their unborn daughter, and fur baby, Sadie, of Frisco, Texas; parents, Michael Anderson of Whitesboro, Texas, Kathy Hanna and husband, John of Frisco, Texas and; three brothers, Blake Anderson and wife, Katherine of Aubrey, Texas, Lance Anderson of Frisco, Texas and Stone Anderson of Frisco, Texas; grandparents, Dennis and Louise Scully of New Baltimore, Michigan and Barbara Anderson of Lawton, Oklahoma; niece, Evelyn Anderson of Aubrey, Texas; and a host of other loving family and friends.
Scout was preceded in death by his grandfather, Albert Anderson and father-in-law, Leslie Sisson, Sr.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
