Sean Micheal Gerber

Sean Micheal Gerber, 45, of Ammon, passed away February 18, 2026.

Sean was born January 21, 1981, in Rexburg, ID, to Gregory Dean Gerber and Linda Lucille Curtis Gerber. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Hillcrest High School. He also attended Idaho State University. He received his CDL License and became a bus driver for School District #91.

In September 2001 or 2002, he married Jamie Farnes. He was a devoted husband for 24 years. They later divorced.

He was a skilled gunsmith. He also loved his nephews and enjoyed being the favorite uncle.

Sean is survived by his parents, Gregory and Linda Gerber; brother, Martin (Stephany) Gerber; and nephews, Cooper Gerber and Colt Gerber.

He was preceded in death by his uncle, Martin Seth Curtis, Jr.; aunt, Marlys Arntsen; grandparents, Shirley and Peter Gerber.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Inurnment will be in the Ammon Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Snake River Animal Shelter.
