Sean M Pitt

Sean, age 51, passed away Friday March 29th, 2024. Sean was born in Chicago in 1972 to the late John and Maureen Pitt. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Jim. Sean is survived by his immediate family Lisa, Ashley, Alyssa, Annalise, Axel, Mateo, and Daniel; Siblings Mike, Ellen, and Marty; Countless friends and family members who were a part of Sean's life.
Sean will always be remembered first and foremost as a devoted father. Everything he did was with his children in mind; He would have given the world to put a smile on their faces. Sean was a selfless man who worked tirelessly to give his kids a joyous life. He often was the man behind the camera and shared photos of his kids with everyone who would listen. We were his entire life.
Sean was also a loving friend to family and friends alike. He was there if anyone needed him, and deeply loved the people he was surrounded by. He enjoyed playing guitar, reading tons of mystery novels, and playing games. But above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation Friday, April 5th, from 15:00-20:00, at Anderson-Goodale Memorial Homes located at 21131 W. Renwick Road, Plainfield, IL 60544. Prayer and testimonials will be held at 18:00. The best donation that can be given is a story of Sean for his children. Alternatively, those who wish to make a contribution can consider making a donation to his children's futures or sending flowers (blue/white for Sean's favorite color) to the memorial.
