Sean Ragan Obituary

Sean A. "Rags" Ragan, 53, of Peters Township, unexpectedly passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021.

He was a beloved son of Martin J. (Annette) Ragan Jr., and the late Geraldine E. Scheuble Ragan. Sean was also preceded in death by his grandparents, August and Elizabeth Scheuble, and Martin and Anna Ragan.

He is survived by his brother, Martin J. Ragan III; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Sean graduated from Peters Township High School and went on to further his education at Kent State University. He worked to arrange mortgage loans for many years.

Sean loved all animals, especially dogs, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He was very handy and always willing and able to help and fix anything. Sean was always there for his family and friends no matter what they needed, anytime. Sean will be remembered for his kind heart, always putting others before himself, and his love for his family.

Funeral arrangements by Beinhauers. Family and friends are welcome to celebrate Sean's life Wednesday, August 11, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in Beinhauers, 2828 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 12, in St. John the XXIII Parish, St. Benedict the Abbot Church.
