Selafas "Waffie" Ivey, 36 returned to his heavenly home on April 18, 2017 after a valiant battle with a long illness. His devotion to his family and firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace. Selafas was born to Sallie Nell Ivey on April 29, 1980 and was a native of Marianna Florida. He attended Marianna High School and subsequently joined Job Corps at an early age where he pursued his passion for automotive and machine repair. He was a member of Holyneck Missionary Baptist Church. Waffie was a wonderful family man, who was kind, caring and loving with a remarkable smile that enlarged his personality. This smile quickly grew his circle of friends that encouraged people to know him and to love him. He loved to hunt, fish, shoot pool, work on his cars and care for his dogs. He was blessed with a large and loving family. His survivors include His Wife: Shawna Ivey of Marianna, FL, who is expecting the couple's second child (Kali).
