Seretha Freeman Rainey, 65 of Moundville, passed away March 8, 2024 at home. Services will be held on Wednesday,March 13, 2024 at 3:00 pm at Concord Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Walker officiating and Magnolia Chapel South directing. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Ernest and Lucille Freeman, sister; Wanda Hennings, and step-son; Ryan Rainey.
Survivors include her husband Ronald Rainey of Moundville, daughter; Brooke McKinley of Moundville, sons; Brian McKinley (fiance Mandy Wilson) of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, granddaughter; Faith McKinley of Moundville.
Seretha was a loving mother, wife and "Nana". She spent her entire career in the health carefield and retired from Cancer Care Center of Tuscaloosa where she was loved by all of her patients and co-workers. Seretha fought a long hard battle and was surrounded by her family when she passed away. She will be missed by so many people and all the lives she touched along the way.
Pallbearers will be the Hale County Sheriffs Department.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Cancer Care Center of Tuscaloosa Angel Fund.
