We remember Severo Rojas, whose spirit departed from us on December 22, 2024, at the age of 80. Severo Rojas was a hard worker and honest person who valued his family.
He is survived by his wife Amada Vera who he was married to 50 years, his sons and daughters Jorge, Adolfo, Abel, Eusebio, Sandra, Isela, Flor & Blanca and his 7 grandchildren Christabel, Brianna, Camila, Anabelle, Angel, Jaden & Kenya.
Severo was born in Juchipila Zacatecas, Mexico. He left his house independently at the age of 15 where he traveled to Mexicali to work cotton picking, then moving to Yuma, Arizona picking oranges. From Arizona he moved to Nevada and worked in barns. Lastly, he reestablished in California and worked for Color Spot where he worked for almost 50 years.
He battled illnesses including cancer until the end. Severo lived in Watsonville until his last day surrounded by his family who loved him very much. He will be missed and will always be in our hearts.
