Known for her boundless energy, infectious laugh, and unwavering kindness, Shana Baughman Carroll, 45, passed away December 7, 2025, in her Wyomissing residence, surrounded by her loving family.
She was the devoted and cherished wife of Michael Carroll and extraordinary mother to her four beautiful children, Moxley Shod (14), Maeryn Marie (12), Malone Poppy (10), and Macklyn Steen (7).
Shana was born in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, to the late Kenneth S. Baughman, and to her mother, Angie K. Chandler (formerly Angie K. Tomberlin/Baughman), wife of Stanley R. Chandler (stepfather), Niceville, Florida.

She later received a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Florida State University and a Graduate Certificate in Non-Profit Management and Grantwriting from the University of South Alabama.
Shana excelled in her professional career, focusing on roles and organizations that brought a sense of purpose and meaning to her and the population they served. While she held several meaningful positions over the years, her most cherished role in life was being a mother, providing everlasting love, care and guidance to her children.
The core of her spirit centered around faith, family, friends and football. Shana was a warm-hearted and empathetic woman, known for her golden spirit and radiant smile. Her love for nature's beauty inspired her to embrace each day with gratitude and joy. Living a life of selflessness, she left a lasting impression on everyone whom she encountered. An avid world traveler, Shana relished the thrill of scuba diving, outdoor adventure, and exploring diverse cultures, yet her most cherished moments were spending time and vacationing with her family. She especially loved finding last-minute travel deals, treasured the African safari she shared with her niece, and took great pride in her solo journey to Hungary. She had a deep appreciation for live music, with favorites including Bruce Springsteen, Ryan Adams, and Glen Hansard to name a few.
In addition to her husband, children, mother and stepfather, she is survived by her loving sister, Kathryn Shelly, wife of Daniel Samuel, Tallahassee, Florida. She is also survived by her niece, Amyra Garba-Hima, with whom she loved as her own child and the bond they shared was one of the greatest joys of her life.
