Shane Alan Colvin

Shane Alan Colvin was taken all too soon from us on December 23, 2021. He was born December 18, 1997, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Shane attended Edmond Public Schools. He loved his family, friends, playing guitar, fishing, the OU Sooners and his faithful companion, Reggie. He also had a passion for cooking. Shane learned the art of upholstery from his uncle, Max, and soon fell in love with the trade. About 5 years ago Shane met Paige, and like a fairy tale, they fell in love. Their love was tragically cut short when Paige died unexpectedly. From that day forward, Shane suffered from a dark depression which he carried with him until the day he died. Now, Shane is finally well and happier than ever, reunited at last with his true love in heaven.
Shane was preceded in death by his grandmother, Phyllis Colvin; as well as Tamra Dee (Punkin Head) Colvin and Autumn (Sweet Pea) Colvin. He is survived by his father, Alan Colvin and wife Angela; mother, Tricia Colvin and husband Robert Pinion; his sister, Kahla Colvin; grandfather, Max Colvin; and grandparents, Larry and Jane Fryback. He will also be missed by his nephew and niece, Jayden and Gabriella Chavarria; his uncles and aunts, Dale and Laurie Day, Mike and Cindy Colvin, and Max and Sheryl Colvin; as well as cousins, Max Colvin, Cheyenne Colvin, Carley Colvin, and Jackson Koeniger.
Shane will be missed by so many, but please find comfort and peace knowing that Shane hadn't been happy for so long and now he is better than he ever was and they both will be, for eternity.
A service celebrating Shane's life will be at 10am on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at Crawford Family Funeral Service, Edmond. Burial will follow at Harrell Cemetery in Cushing, OK.
