Shane Depauw

Though he leaves this world too soon, Shane's memory will live on through his laughter, his soulful brown eyes, and the joy he brought to those around him. He had a unique love for vehicles, especially those of police and firefighters, and had an admirable taste for fashion, always finding a way to match a tie to any outfit. Shane's love for creature feature movies was only matched by his love for his family, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and laughter.
Shane, a gifted young man, completed his high school diploma and delved into the world of engineering, creating personalized everyday items such as vacuums and speaker boxes. His creations, driven by passion and ingenuity, were a testament to his resourceful spirit.
Surviving Shane are, his grandparents, Rita Podschlne and Judith Depauw; his parents, Angela Mary Podschlne and Sean DePauw; his siblings, Sean David DePauw, Terry Foster Stevens Jr., and Alyssa Marie Johnson; along with his uncles, Mark Andrew Podschlne Jr. and Glenn DePauw; and aunts, Shauna Roosa and Joleen Podschlne, and his brother in-law Calvin Johnson 3rd his niece and nephew Cadence Rita Marie Johnson and nephew Calvin Daniel Alexander Johnson. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Marc Andrew Podschlne and Joseph DePauw, his sister in-law Erin Louise Robison.
A service to celebrate Shane's life will be held on June 8, 2024, at11:00 am at Prairie Walk Clubhouse, located at 17335 Nature Walk Trail, Parker, Colorado. Following the services, Shane's ashes will belovingly spread at Mt. Lindo at 5928 S Turkey Creek Rd., Morrison, CO80465. In the spirit of Shane's memory, his family invites you to remember him with joy and laughter. A quote that resonates with Shane's journey is, "God has said, never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."- Hebrews 13:5.
