Shane Kitts Obituary
Shane E. Kitts, age 45, passed away July 4th, 2025, in Marion, Ohio. Shane was born to Paul Edward Kitts and Patricia “Patty” Chapman (Gates). Shane is preceded in death by his father, Paul Kitts; paternal grandparents, Les and Fanny Kitts; maternal grandfather, (Oscar Gates).
Shane is survived by mother, Patty Chapman; sister, Stacy (John Yeager) Kitts; niece and nephews; Pierson Smith, Kaylynn Yeager, and Parker Yeager; and grandmother, Ruth Gates.
Shane attended River Valley High School and was baptized Baptist. He was an artist, and in his free time he would draw and sketch. He enjoyed repurposing furniture and was a very skilled carpenter. He loved fishing, watching the Ohio State Buckeyes, and spending time with his family,
The family will be receiving friends and family Monday July 14, 2025, from 11am-1pm at Freedom Fellowship, 8895 Harding Highway East, Galion Ohio, followed by a service at 1pm and interment at Caledonia Cemetery (6351 Harding Hwy. E, Caledonia, OH). Chris Stewart will be officiating. The family encourages donations to be made to the funeral home; Affordable Cremation Services of Ohio in care of services. Moments of remembrance may be left online at www.cremationservicesofohio.com.
