Shannon Bunn Loveless, 56, of Franklinton passed away at her home on Sunday, May 25, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was born on July 19, 1968 to Ted Bunn and Betty Murphy in Franklin County, NC.
In addition to her parents, Shannon was preceded in death by her grandparents, Fred and Ava Murphy.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of twenty-six years, Michael Loveless; her daughter, Elizabeth Loveless; her brother, Daniel Bunn (Jamie); her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bill and Ann Loveless; four nieces and five nephews; her special canine companion, Rascal, as well as numerous friends and her other canine companions.
Shannon was a deeply caring and compassionate soul whose warmth touched everyone around her. She cherished her roles as a devoted wife and mother, embodying everything that makes a great mother truly remarkable.
A lover of music, Shannon found joy in singing-especially the classic country tunes of Reba McEntire and Patsy Cline. Affectionately known by her loved ones as "Shannon the Cannon," she had a spirited, feisty side that made her unforgettable.
She adored spending time at the beach and the lake, where her vibrant personality could shine. Shannon was head over heels for her beloved dog, Rascal. Shannon's radiant presence, boundless love, and joyful spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
The family will accept friends and visitors on Friday, May 30, 2025 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Blvd. Louisburg, NC.
