Sharla Rene Harding, passed away on August 13, 2022, in Tyler, Texas.
She was born on May 14, 1978, in Longview, Texas to James Harding and the late Jean Harding. She graduated from White Oak High School and then spent most of her time being a stay-at-home mama.
Sharla accepted the Lord as her Savior at a young age and attended Grace Creek Church. She was her own unique kind of person. She liked music of all genres. She would sing and dance in front of anyone (She liked the spotlight.) She liked animals and felt strongly about saving them. She loved sharks so much; it was actually one of her last words along with some a little less appropriate She will be remembered for her big personality, funny voices, and hilarious comments that were absolutely one of a kind, just like her. She will be remembered for her heart of a saint but the mouth of a sailor, that she never knew a stranger, and loving people that most overlook.
She is preceded in death by her mother and her grandparents.
She is survived by father, James Harding; partner, Steven Goad; daughter, Alaura Goad; son, Kamden Goad; step-children, Zach and wife Adela Pena; Denver Satterwhite and wife Hailey Satterwhite; birth sisters, Tammy Howard; Tricia Britton; and Kristy Kaufman and brother-in-law, Stuart; her chosen sisters, Jen Hutchings and brother-in-law Banjo Hutchings; and Jo Gail Agee-Cheek and husband Bradley Cheek; grandchildren, Alli and Lina Pena and baby Pena on the way. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Johnny Roddy; Christian and Christa Howard; Shelby and Clay Mooney; Chloe Jones; Trenton Ausmus; Lane Clanton; Blair, Chloe, Mia, and Ledger Kaufman; Zakary Hutchings; great-nephew, Everett Mooney; and all of her adopted children and family she gathered along the way.
Sharla will forever be cherished and remembered by her family and friends who were her greatest joy in life. She was taken way too soon at 44, but she is reunited with her Mama who she'd been missing extra hard. The celebration when she got to heaven had to be the biggest they'd seen yet because she was the life of the party and would accept nothing less. Stay golden, Sharla.. We love you and will see you again.
A Life Celebration memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of The Cammack Family Welch Funeral Home located at 4619 Judson Road, Longview, Texas 75605
