Sharon Kay Spencer Baugus, age 63, of Morehead, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at UK Medical Center in Lexington.

She was born October 20, 1961, in Willard, Ohio, the daughter of J. C. Spencer of Morehead and the late Dalphene Sparkman Spencer.

Besides her father, Sharon is survived by her son, Ryan Rowe (Shelva) of Hazel Green; her daughter, Santana Baugus Combs (Jordan) of Morehead; five grandchildren, Kaylee Arms (Jason), Jericlay Rowe, Riley Rowe, Sierra Enix (Jordan), and Reese Fannin (Chaise Poindexter); and five great-grandchildren, Kaden Elliott, Lela Thacker, Bennett and Saylor Enix, and Renley Poindexter.

She is also survived by one brother, Jeff Spencer (Teena) of West Liberty; two sisters, Cheryl Lindon (Rusty) of West Liberty and Sharlene Cook (Danny) of Morehead; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who loved her dearly.

Kay was a 1979 graduate of Allen Central High School in Floyd County and worked as a certified nursing assistant with ARH Home Health. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and canning, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jamie Brunk officiating. Burial will follow in New Alfrey Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Riley Rowe, Logan Spencer, Jason Cook, Tanner Bowman, Jason Arms, and Tyler Potter.

Visitation will be held from 12 noon until 2 p.m. Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
