Sharon K. Brooks

Sharon K. Brooks, 81, of Lowell, OH, passed away at 9:42am, Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026 at Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born on December 3, 1944, In Monroe, Louisana a daughter of Orman Kehl and Emma Bower Kehl.

Sharon was a graduate of Marietta High School in 1962 and was a member of the National Honor Society. She had been employed by Attorneys Davidson, Heckler & Riggs and later worked for Attorneys Fields, Hollister & Nichols and Attorneys McCauley, Webster & Emrick. She was a member of Sixth & Washington Street Church of Christ where she taught Bible School.

On March 4, 1967, she married Donald Brooks who survives with their son and daughter, Bethany Marie (David) Schafer of Caldwell and Brian Keith (ThaiChan) Brooks of Tampa, FL; grandchildren: Lucas Parks, Mason Schafer, Madison Bates, Malin Schafer, Julia Brooks and Han Nguyen, several great grandchildren and her sister Elaine Gregg of New Philadelphia.

She is preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter, Stephanie Brooks and 2 nieces, Tina and Jodi Neely.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday (Jan.14) at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial following in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Family will greet friends at the funeral home on Tuesday form 2-4 and 6-8. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
