Sharon E. Carreiro

Sharon E. Carreiro of East Bridgewater passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, September 12th, 2025. She was 78 years old.

Sharon was born and raised in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where she attended the local schools. She began working at a young age which kickstarted her impeccable work ethic. She was working at Baystate Lobster Company when she met her dear friend James Faro in 1979. Sharon later began working for James' company, Constitution Seafood, in 2001. She retired in October of 2024.

Sharon loved to embrace her witchy side when going on day trips to visit Salem with her now deceased husband, Donald. She enjoyed going out to eat with friends and was always looking for a new piece of jewelry to add to her collection. She took great interest and had profound respect for Native American culture.

Sharon was a loyal, honest person who worked incredibly hard. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She is survived by her long-time friend, James Faro, as well as her friend Stacy, her colleague Jose who took her to and from work every day, and Luis at South Shore Hospital, who dedicated his time to helping her out with her daily tasks.

A graveside service will be held for Sharon at a later date.
