Sharon Kay Earick

Sharon Kay Earick, age 80, of Lakeview passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Saturday, October 25, 2025. Sharon was born in Ovid on January 2, 1945, to Claude and Edna (McCarrick) Cummings. She was raised in Marion Springs and Ovid areas where she attended Ovid Public Schools. Sharon earned her high school diploma through Adult Education in Saginaw and continued her education at Baker College. She was employed as a preschool teacher in Hemlock for many years. Sharon married David E. Earick, the love of her life for more than 27 years, on March 16, 1963, in Ovid. She was a member of the Sonshine Worship Center in Lakeview. Sharon will be remembered as a devoted Detroit Tigers fan, who loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.Sharon is survived by 2 daughters, Linda (Miker Bass) Earick of Lakeview, Sarah (Walfre Cano) Earick of Dunnellon, FL; son, Orval Earick of Sevierville, TN; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.She was preceded by her beloved husband, David Earick in 1990; 2 sons, David Jr, and Zachary Earick; as well as her parents, Claude and Edna.Interment in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Owosso has taken place. No other services are planned at this time.
