Sharon Efaw Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Hutson Funeral Home - Farmington on Feb. 22, 2026.
Sharon J. Efaw, of Farmington, WV, born on July 20, 1948, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at her residence.

Sharon was the daughter of Elijah M. Kittle and Nancy L. England. She was one of five children-three sisters: Karen, Carolyn Lea, Kelly, and one brother, Elijah "Bud" Kittle. She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, both parents, and her sister, Carolyn Lea.

Sharon was the proud mother of four children: Gary Lee (Delsie) Efaw, Robert (Tammy) Efaw, and twins Milinda (Chris) Carpenter and Brian Efaw. She especially cherished her many grandchildren-Eric, Shawn, Cassie, Devin, Bailey, Brycie, and Spud-and her great grandchildren: Remington, Darenger, Raige, Gracie, Braeleigh, Kenzie, Walker, Scout, Jett, Sailor, Bristol, and Sophia. Sharon also loved her many nieces and nephews as if they were her own.

Throughout her adult life, Sharon worked for Steve Davis Custom Butchering and Lone Star Western Beef. She was known for her talents in baking and crafts, and treasured time spent with friends, family, and her beloved animals. Above all, Sharon was celebrated for her remarkable baked goods-especially her cakes and pies-which brought joy to many.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you for the support from their friends and family. They would especially like to thank Tabi Fluharty, Diane and Ralph Bailey, Michael and Bobbi Cyphers, Gary Efaw, and Amedisys Hospice Care. Your kindness, support, and compassionate care for Sharon are deeply appreciated.

Thank you to Hutson Funeral home for taking care of the Cremation services. Per Sharon's wishes, there will be no viewing or service. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Condolences may be extended to the family at www.hutsonfuneralhomes.com. The Hutson Funeral Home is honored to serve the Efaw family.
