Sharon M. Finch

Sharon Marie Finch passed away peacefully at home with family on June 11, 2025, at the age of 80. Sharon was born on June 17, 1944, in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Vernon and Betty (Prinz) Homrich.
Sharon was first and foremost a loving and devoted wife and mother, an identity that brought her immense pride and joy throughout her life. Family gatherings and holidays held a special place in Sharon's heart, as they were a time for joy and creating memories.
With a spirit that craved adventure, they enjoyed many trips across the country, to her the best part of the adventure was meeting new people and making life long friendships with them, but her true favorite was Florida. Her mantra of "change the latitude, change the attitude" was not only a testament to her love of the Florida warmth but also reflected her positive outlook on life.
Gun Lake held a piece of Sharon's heart, where she and her husband raised their children and watched their grandchildren grow. Her life at the lake brought her great lifelong friendships and a warm and loving place for the family and friends to gather.
Above all, Sharon's greatest joy was in spending time with her grandchildren and witnessing each milestone as they grew. Sharon's unwavering presence in her grandchildren's lives endowed them with a treasure trove of wisdom and cherished moments.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, John Finch, children, Vernon (Kay) Finch, Michael (Sarah) Finch, and Lisa (Richard) Campbell, grandchildren, Lindsey, Andrew (AJ), Joel (JJ), Elizabeth, and Abby, great granddaughter, Emma, sisters, Kathleen Tiller and Sally (Daryl) Rogers. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents.
