Sharon Kay Fulton went to be with the Lord and Savior on Sunday morning May 25, 2025, where she passed at home.
Born June 28,1948 in Van Wert Ohio, the daughter of Rebecca and Harvey Starbuck, her family later moved to Pueblo Colorado area. She graduated from Crowley County High School (Ordway Colo.) in 1967.
She met her husband Francis Fulton Jr. in October of 1977, where they later moved to Roswell New Mexico and married on December 18, 1980.
Our high schools were located close to each other, and I would always tease her if her school ever got away from using Granite Tablets. I would always get that over the glasses look.and then the famous comment Keep it Up
Sharon loved the Lord, she was a long-time member at Mt View Baptist Church, and in the last year moved to Calvary Chapel in Roswell NM.
Sharon had one son Les W. Fulton where he passed in 2011.
She worked at several jobs Nursing Homes, Hospitals, but while in Roswell she worked at JC Penney's, 3-C Meats, and Walmart. Most people recognized her as the tall red head at the service desk at the original Walmart. She retired in 2007, where she spent most of her time at home and working on the property in East Grand Plains, and taking care of her Pets Jackie, Rusty & Apollo.
She loved her NASCAR, every Sunday she was glued to watch her favorite drivers, people always laughed that she would leave her husband at home with the pets and go to the races at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth Tx, taking either her sister, daughter in-law, or friends. I believe she held season tickets for approximately 27-yrs at Texas Motor Speedway.
Later, I was able to take her to a couple of bucket list tracks she always wanted to go to, Night Races at Bristol Motor Speedway and of course Daytona Speedway for the Daytona 500.
Sharon loved her Grand Children & Great Grand Children, Mallee, Aryq, Kassy, Brady, Malaki, Khloe, Daschali, Nikaya & Indiana.
She also held great love for the McDaniel son's Tim & Billy, when Tim played football at Goddard High School we had to follow him to each game.
Her favorite song was Rock of Ages, and when they played it, I could always hear her blasting the words.
People that knew her always knew where they stood, she was very outgoing and was not shy with words.
She's preceded by her parents, brother Jim, son Les and grandson Aryq.
Survivors include husband Francis, sister Beckie Penn & family, and grand and great children, daughter in law Stefanie Fulton.
Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
