Sharon J. Grems, 68, of Holland Patent passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, July 19, 2025.
She was born on August 9, 1956, in Huntington, NY a daughter of the late Walter and Marie (Ammon) Zimmer. She was united in marriage to Dale Grems on June 2, 1978, Mr. Grems passed away in 2023 a blessed union of over 45 years.
She was a certified Nurse's assistant for many years at many local health care establishments.
In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her adored children and grandchildren. She loved gardening, and camping. Her warm and caring demeanor will be sadly missed by all her family.
She is survived by her children, Jamie Hillhouse, Bethany (Truman) Grems-Williams, and Jonathan Grems. She leaves her grandchildren, Caleb Clark, Jonathan Townsend, Skyler Clark, Grace Grems, Briar Grems, Amelia Williams, Henry Williams, and Jackson Williams. She also leaves her siblings, Joann Langley, Carol Fallon, Joseph La Plante, Mary (John) Adcox and Bethany (Daniel) Schwertfeger, also many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother James La Plante.
Interment will be on Friday August 1, at 11:00 AM, in St. Mary's Cemetery in West Leyden, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service which will be held at a date and time to be announced at the Holland Patent Presbyterian Church in Holland Patent.
Arrangements are with the Dimbleby Funeral Homes Inc. 40 Main St. Whitesboro.
