Sharon Alice Loeser was called home to the Lord on April 25, 2025. She was born in Spokane, WA to Air Force parents, moving frequently. Sharon Graduated high school in Clinton, MD where she loved to play the accordion. She then worked in Washington D.C. for a number of years. After moving to Kansas in 1967 she worked as an office manager or secretary for industrial companies. Later, for six years, worked as a caregiver for Homestead in Overland Park, KS.
She was preceded in death by her parents William and Hazel Lochridge. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Gregory and her beloved retired greyhound JoJo, who was adopted from Kansas City Retired Greyhounds as pets. They adopted 13 greyhounds over 22 years and fostered over 30. Also surviving are her sister Linda Owen and husband Richard, brother Frank Lochridge and wife Debbie, all of Tennessee. Sharon had four children: Cheryl Anderson of Louisburg, KS, Jennifer Gallagher of Lee’s Summit, MO, Laura McDermott of Overland Park, KS and Michael Williams and his wife Jules of Fort Lauderdale, FL. There are also other nieces, grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Upon retirement Sharon loved to cook and garden. She and Gregg traveled the past few years, going to the United Kingdom, Europe, Central America and the Panama Canal. In Europe Sharon loved Budapest, Hungary and cited it as her favorite city.
