Sharon went to be with Lord on the morning of November 12, 2024, surrounded by her family. Sharon was the daughter of Rudean Wilson and Julius M. Braddy Jr. She was a graduate of Chamberlain High School class of 1977.
Sharon truly loved her grandson Kaleb, and she named herself "G-Mama. Sharon also did not exchange words when it came to her four-legged grandson, "Draco"
Sharon had very long career in the field of customer service and was looking forward to retirement. Sharon was a social butterfly and loved and enjoyed participating in events and traveling with her friends.
Sharon truly loved the Lord and was a devoted Christian and member of Grace of God Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Elder Fredrick E. Thomas.
Sharon was preceded in death by her loving parents Julius M. Braddy Jr and Rudean Wilson, grandparents Julius Braddy Sr. And Nellie M. Robinson Braddy, Henry E. Wilson, Leo E. Bryant and Mary (weetie) Bryant. Brother David Woodard, Aunt Delores Thomas Step Aunts Frances Williams and Barbara Ratcliff. Cousins Ronald Thomas, James Hightower and John Williams Jr.
Sharon leaves to cherish her fond memories of a life well lived:
A loving devoted son and the absolute love of her life Cleveland Braddy Mitchner, The apple of her eye and loving grandson Kaleb Cleveland Mitchner (Kelli Shaw-mother). Sisters: Lisa Whitley (special bond), Tonya (Tangela) Wilson, Dameka Wilson, Sheila Smith, Gail Braddy, Veronica Pasco. Brothers: Clarence (Terry) Williams, Ronnie (Dana) Wilson. Sister-in-Law, Sonja Woodard. Uncle: William Avant. Step Aunt: Bettye Dixon (Robert) Nieces: Skye A. Montgomery (United States Navy). Casey Montgomery, Danieka Montgomery-Scott, Cheyna Montgomery, Khorinn Woodard, Neanni Gallmon, Mary Wilson, Brittany Gaskin, Sherrail Stewart. Nephews: RayShod Williams, Durrell Williams, Clarence Williams Jr., Demaris Davis, Colby Woodard, Charles Smith, Bryan Smith, and Marvin Braddy. Loving Godson: Michael D. Washington. Devoted Cousins: Robert (Pamela) Thomas, Wayne Thomas, Wendall (Dot) Thomas, Ricky Jackson, Darryl Sims, Gloria Thomas, Gloria Jean Williams-Pendleton (Earl), Beverly Williams and Elisa Baker
Everyone that came in contact with Sharon loved her and we salute her devoted friends: Patricia Ray (sister), Gina and Michael Washington, Gwendolyn Barnes (Cleveland Godmother), Lexie Campbell, Keri Sernaque (sister) Liz Hale, Sheila Thomas (First Lady), Abagail Gatlin and Marcia Buckley.
Special thanks to the physicians, staff of Tampa General Hospital and USF health for their care and concerns as our sister fought a courageous battle with cancer until God called her home to be at rest.
