Sharon Oswalt Obituary
Sharon was born on September 19, 1943 in LaFayette, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late Leroy and Amanda De Freese. She graduated from Southwestern High School. On February 8, 1964 she married the love of her life, Thomas Eugene Oswalt, whom survives. She had been employed by State Farm Insurance, Sarge BIltz Restaurant, and retired after many years for Crop Production Services. In her spare time Sharon enjoyed Euchre, flowers, bird watching, Purdue Sports and wintering in Florida.
In addition to her husband, Sharon is survived by her two daughters, Tamela (Patrick) Duncan of Greenwood, Indiana and Tracy (Steven) Powell of Henderson, Kentucky; her two grandsons, Bradley (Jessica) Oswalt of Columbus, Indiana and Tyler Duncan of Greenwood, Indiana; her two great-granddaughters, Eloise and Charlotte Oswalt of Columbus, Indiana; her brother, Brian (Marla) DeFreese of West Point, Indiana.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Burt and William (Bill) DeFreese.
A Celebration of Life will be held on April 9, 2022 at the DeFreese Family Farm.
