Sharon Ramey Obituary

Sharon D. "Kane" Ramey age 64, of Washington Courthouse, OH,
formerly of Columbus, OH, passed away March 10,2025 due to
complications of the bird flu and double pneumonia that caused
her to suddenly go into cardiac arrest. She was an organ donor
who gave the gift of sight to two people. Born in Montreal, Canada
to parents Victor Norman Kane and Josephine "Glasser" Kane
who predeceased her. She was also preceded in death by her
infant son Timothy Patrick Shaun Kane; Mother-in-law, Dorothy
Ramey; sister-in-law Carla Louise Ramey; Brother, Norman
Eugene Kane; and nephew, Wesley Blevins.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband, Frederick (Sonny)
Ramey Jr.; Son, Frederick (Sonny) Ramey III (Abigail); Daughter,
Jana "Ramey" Young (Zach); Grandchildren Rilen and Layne
Young; Sister Patricia Dixon; Sister Marilyn Allen (Danny); Brother
Victor Kane (Virginia); Special niece and nephews Tricia Allen
(Shawn), Kevin Kane (Heidi), and Shaun Kane; as well as many
loving nieces and nephews.
Sharon had a big heart for everyone she met. She loved being a
friend, sister, aunt, wife, mother, and Granny to her boys.
There will be a celebration of life held to celebrate Sharon this
summer.
In lieu of flowers, all donations will go to her husband Frederick
(Sonny) Ramey Jr. to help with expenses. A go fund me is set up
to help.
