Sharon Marie Sommers, 78, lifelong resident of Chisholm, MN died Friday, July 25, 2025 at Cornerstone Villa in Buhl, MN. She was born February 13, 1947 to Arvid and Sonia (Sandvick) Johnson in Chisholm, MN. Sharon achieved a degree in Nursing. She was an RN for various places throughout her career, Fairview Range, Range Mental Health, and the State of Minnesota most recently. She attended Chisholm Baptist Church in Chisholm. Her favorite pastimes included, flower and veggie gardens, painting, making and sewing dolls, and especially loved her dogs.
She is survived by her two children, Gene (Erin) Dropp, Hibbing, MN, and Raquel (David) Hanson, Chisholm, MN, brother, Ken (Betty) Johnson, Thief River Falls, MN, 7 grandchildren,
4 step grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Arvid and Sonia (Sandvick) Johnson, her brother, Rodney Johnson, and significant other, Doug Twa.
Per Sharon's request there will be no services held. A private interment will be held in the Chisholm Cemetery, Chisholm, MN at a later date.
