Sharon (KAYE) Thomas
May 23, 1950 - March 17, 2024
Kaye Thomas of Clarkston Michigan and Port Charlotte Florida unexpectedly passed away peacefully on March 17, 2024. Kaye was born in California on May 23, 1950 and graduated from El Cajon Valley High School in 1968. Kaye moved to Michigan in 1971 and worked as a secretary for Cranbrook and Waterford Schools. After retirement, she became a snowbird and lived her best life! She was a social butterfly known well for her fun spirit with an outgoing personality. She was always making new friends wherever she went. While at home in MI she adored spending time with her daughter and granddaughter, her sister and niece, and other family and friends. She loved doing puzzles, attending arts and craft shows, reading, shopping and Hallmark movies. Her favorite Florida pastime was to hit the beach and hunt for sharks teeth! When she wasn't doing that, she enjoyed planning new fun roadtrip adventures back to MI. She will be deeply missed by her husband Jerry (Gerald) Thomas, daughter Kimberly Schneider (Dan), granddaughter Alyssa, sister Sandra Coe (John), step children Debi (Rod), Tammy (Scott), Pati (Mark), Michael (Tambra), and their families, nieces and nephews Stacey (Jon) Kipke and Todd (Holly) Smith and many other family members and friends who all loved her dearly. Kaye was preceded in death by her mother Lila Elizabeth Stout, brother Robert (Bob) Stout and sister Carolyn Morgan.
A celebration of life will be held on May 16th from 6:00 - 9:00 PM at Silver Lake Golf Course 2602 West Walton Blvd. Waterford, MI 48329.
