Sharon Watts Tines was born on July 10, 1959, in Pittsburgh, PA, to the late Murray Watts Sr. and Luvenia Watts. She was one of seven children and attended the Pittsburgh Public School system. At an early age, Sharon accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and faithfully served in various churches and ministries throughout her life. She was known as a devoted evangelist, prayer warrior, and intercessor, always eager to lift others up in prayer. For many years, Sharon's love for music was expressed through her involvement in the Church of God in Christ State Choir and the Community College of Allegheny County Gospel Choir. She also enjoyed decorating for church events and programs, making each occasion special with her creative touch. As an active member of Greater Emmanuel Fellowship of Pennsylvania and Ohio, Sharon participated in Holy Convocations, Women's Department Conferences, prayer lines, and Bible studies. Her unwavering faith and dedication to serving others will be remembered by all who knew her. Sharon had a passion for fashion and was always impeccably dressed, often seen wearing her favorite jewelry, which added to her distinctive style. On Tuesday, October 15, 2024, Sharon departed her earthly body and transitioned to her heavenly home to be present with the Lord. Sharon was preceded in death by her husband Reginald Tines, her parents, Murray Sr., and Luvenia, brother, Murray Watts Jr. and grandson Damion Thomas, Jr. Sharon leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Rolisha Nesbeth; Grandchildren, Dawon and Aunesti Nesbeth; Great Grandchildren, Amerise Nesbeth and Asahad Thomas; Siblings, Murlene Watts, Harriet Jones, Victoria Martin, Darlene Foster and Kenneth Watts. Goddaughters, Dawndra Allen, LaRee Featherstone and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
