In 1972, the family moved to South Bend, Indiana, where she built a home filled with cherished traditions. She was a long-time member of the Junior League of South Bend and had a strong love of animals, especially giraffes.
After moving to Madison, WI in 1990 to be closer to her daughter, Sharon was married to the late Allan Topp and together they enjoyed many years of playing tennis, traveling, and hosting together. Sharon was also a member of Christ Presbyterian Church in Madison.
During her final months, Sharon was well cared for by her family with the help of many caring staff at Discovery Commons Brookfield as well as Legacy Hospice. The family is very grateful for their faithful service and kindness during that time.
