Mary Kathryn Wind
August 6, 1967- September 17, 2025
Mary fell asleep in Jesus' arms on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at the age of 58 years. She loved her daughters more than anything in the world, as she leaves behind "her good girls" Maria (Brandon) and Alex (Nate), her grandbaby on the way, her brothers Kenneth (Sandy) and Joseph (Gina) Hoffman, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, her church family - all of whom she loved so dearly! She was preceded in death by both her parents, Kenneth and Emma (née Pilch), and several beloved uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Mary was filled with joy and gratitude for life. She would tell her girls the story of when they were young kids and her kidney was rejecting; she needed another transplant. One night, she prayed and cried out to God to please help her get a kidney, so her girls had their mother. She got a call in the middle of the night saying they had a kidney for her. She called this "her God kidney" as it literally was her answered prayer and it carried her through the rest of her life (over 20 years).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at CROSSWAY CHURCH SUSSEX CAMPUS, N64W22680 State Hwy 74, Sussex. Mary's Life will be celebrated at 11:30 AM. Interment at 1:30 PM at Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13875 W. Capitol Dr., Brookfield. Please meet directly in the Red Parking Area (inside the main cemetery gates) to process together to the grave.
