Sharon Weston Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Carmon Windsor Funeral Home on Dec. 9, 2025.
Sharon Ann (Hall) Weston, 73, of New Britain, CT, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 20, 2025. Born on February 19, 1952, Sharon lived a life centered on faith, family, and compassion.
She was the beloved mother of three children: Shalisha Marie Weston of New Haven; Clinton Hill Weston Jr. of Bristol; and Samuel James Weston of New Britain. Sharon's greatest joy was her family. She leaves behind 25 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who adored her.
Sharon is also lovingly remembered by her daughters-in-law, Julia (Julie) Gonzalez and Nicole K. Weston, both of whom held special places in her heart. Many cherished holidays and family gatherings were spent in the warm, welcoming home of Samuel and Julia Gonzalez, where Sharon found joy, comfort, and a deep sense of belonging.
She was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Arlisha Hall of Hartford, CT, and her siblings Anthony Hall, Thomas Hall, Jean Hall, Minnie Pearson, Susetta Hall, and Arlene Hall. Her cherished sister, Tomalee Braner of Charlotte, North Carolina, who was predeceased by her husband, Charles Braner, remains to honor Sharon's memory. Sharon delighted in speaking with her sisters often and treasured the deep bond they shared.
A devoted Christian, Sharon was a longtime member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Hartford, CT. Even as her health declined, she continued to participate faithfully in services while residing at Autumn Lake Rehabilitation Center.
Before retiring, Sharon devoted her career to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She had a natural gift for comforting those in her care, and her ability to speak both Spanish and English allowed her to connect deeply with patients and families. Her kindness and compassion touched countless lives.
Sharon Ann Weston will be remembered for her unwavering love, her devotion to family, and her beautiful heart for service. Her legacy lives on in all who were blessed to know and love her-both the family she was born into and the family she embraced along the way.
Her family will receive friends on Monday, December 15, 10-11 a.m., followed by a Homegoing Service at 11 a.m., at The Lodge Community Chapel, 130 Deerfield Rd., Windsor. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield.
